X Goes to a Funeral

X’s _____ died, which makes his friends and family very sad. Family and friends will remember him by going to a viewing and a funeral.

The Viewing The body of X’s _____ will be in a casket. His spirit is not there. His spirit is in heaven. He is happy in heaven. X knows he will see his _____ again when he goes to heaven.

There will be a lot of people at the viewing. They will be talking to X, his mother, and his siblings. Some people might cry because they are sad. X can ask them for a hug, or ask if they want a hug to make them feel better.

The Funeral Family and friends will come to the funeral. It will seem a lot like church. There will be a program. X can follow the program. There will be lots of flowers. Everyone will sing hymns. People will give prayers and talks. Some people might tell jokes to make others feel better.

People will also probably cry at the funeral. X can give his mom and siblings hugs to help them feel better. X can also ask for hugs to make himself feel better.

Heaven X’s _____ is with Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. He is in heaven, a happy place with flowers and animals. He is with other family members who have already died. X’s dad is happy when he thinks about X and his family.

Remembering X can look at pictures and remember the happy times he had with his _____. X can remember how much he and his ___ loved each other. X can help his mother and siblings. X can be happy by remembering that Jesus Christ helps families be together forever.
