The main hobby I have is playing bass guitar. I have only been in one band and that bands name is Tear The Sky. The way that I started is because I knew the guitar player (Brian) and I was hanging out with him then the sing (Vince) said that they needed a rhythm guitarist and a bass player so I thought I would try it out. I have never played one in my life so I didn’t know what I was doing, but they said that I was good enough.

I learned how to play about 7 or 8 of their songs and by then a year has already went by. Then I was kicked out. I still kept in touch with them for about a month then just stopped. About a year after I was kicked out I saw Vince and he said that he quit the band and that was the last I heard of the band (In Person).

The Bass Guitar is lower in pitch that the Electric guitar on which it is based. It was designed to provide double bass players with a portable, fretted instrument which could be amplified and easily played. The Bass Guitar has two important roles in a band : It plays bass notes to support the melody, and, along with the drums, it provides a rhythmic pulse that drives the band along.

The Bass guitar is part of the string family, and was invented by an American, Leo Fender, and first marketed in It was soon very popular with country and western players. It is made from a mixture of wood, metal, and plastic, and the average size would be about 3ft 8in long. Bass Guitars also support amplifiers, fuzz boxes, echo units, and pedals. The classification of the Bass Guitar is under Chordophones, as it produces it's sound from the vibration of strings.
