NO ONE AT NEWMAN BUT the Graduate Education Department uses Moodle (Open Source Blackboard)? This is because we have more classes than any other program, and this allows us to more quickly manage courses and assist you, the student! That is why you should ONLY Contact Cindy Corn, our Moodle Manager - do not contact the NU Help Desk because they only know Blackboard!

You have a ONE WEEK deadline to DROP (or add) an 8 week course after course start? You have a TWO WEEK deadline to DROP (or add) a 16 week course after class starts? MISSING THIS DEADLINE MEANS: you must ask Dr. Marx for an Exception Request to fill out so she can argue your case before the monthly Graduate Council for possible approval? Sometimes these are approved with $100 fee to student, and sometimes they are not approved MAKE SURE TO SEE IMPORTANT DEADLINE DATES IN MOODLE!

Important Requirements – PLEASE READ!: 1.Access Your Newman ! (Financial Aid info, graduation info, course evaluations, Title IX Survey, access to Library Databases, etc.) 2.Access Jetstream (Check your graduation date, grades, enrollment, etc.) 3.Required Title IX Survey ( ed to your Newman from the Law Room) about 2 hour survey – required if you were new to Newman Fall 2014 or Spring 2015 (sorry!!!!!)
