Make sure to read the expiration date Avoid using cans and jars with dents, cracks or bulging lids.

Do not buy meat or poultry in package that is leaking or torn.

Make sure meat and poultry does not appear stale or have off odors

Make sure that the meat is not rotten

Dairy products

Check Date of expiration

Purchase dairy products that are properly displayed in the chillers

Check the eggs very well, for dirty or broken. Remember to check the date.

Do not buy fruit and vegetables that are bruised or moldy

Fruit and vegetables are perishables. Buy only what you can eat within a few days

Make sure that the bread is cooked,handled and packed in proper way
