Followups Thessaloniki HIS Instrumentation database has grown from 27 to 77 instruments currently. More attention and work is needed to advertise it. – charge HIS member Nikora’s initiative “In-situ estimation of bed shear” has been advertised and eventually has materialized with the submission of a paper to JHE: “A comparative study of erosion potential of cohesive beds using NIWA in-situ flumes,” K. Interim Actions HIS was invited to contribute to the RDI’s workshop in Nice (France), July A paper on ADCP uncertainty was submitted by M. Muste September 2004: meeting in Stuttgart with Bernhard Westrich to discuss joint HIS- EMS action items and organizational issues

Interim Actions HIS was invited to organize a technical section “International Aspects of Flood Monitoring” for the Aqua Alta Trade Fair, Munich (January 2005).
