Frida Kahlo was a Mexican painter. She loved to paint self portraits. She was married to Diego Rivera who was also a painter. Diego Rivera was a muralist. They divorced and remarried. She had polio as a child and when she was a teenager she nearly died in a bus accident. In that accident she broke her spine, collarbone, ribs, foot, shattered her pelvis, and dislocated her shoulder. She had 30 operations and was in a body cast. After that tragic accident she began painting. Frida’s pain was depicted in her paintings. She died when she was only 47 years old. SU VIDA (HER LIFE)
