Project „Improvement of the systems for navigation and topo-hydrographic measurements along the Danube River” Bulgarian IENCs NEWADA duo

Project „Improvement of the systems for navigation and topo-hydrographic measurements along the Danube River” General objective: –The project aims at improvement of the navigational systems being an important element for ensuring of safety inland waterway navigation.

Project components Component 1: Establishment of GPS geodetic network along the Bulgarian Danube riverbank and its connection with EUREF Component 3: Delivery of equipment Component 2: Modernization of the navigational systems in the Bulgarian section of the Danube River

Indicative project implementation schedule: Delivery of floating and coastal navigational signs Delivery and installing of automatic hydrometric gauges and meteorological stations Delivery of a specialized vessel for hydrographical surveys Establishment of GPS geodetic network
