Details of Invention Invention Background The Objective Summary of the Invention Summary of the Invention Drawing description Website Drawings Detailed Descriptions Claims Abstract Prior Art Save on Water

Reasoning for Invention Water Shortage is a global phenomenon Some statistics provided by html html Some proposed remedies found on Google search =UTF- 8&rlz=1T4ADBF_enUS257US285&q=save+water+ =UTF- 8&rlz=1T4ADBF_enUS257US285&q=save+water

Some food for thought on water "Whiskey is for drinking; water is for fighting over." - This quote has been attributed to Mark Twain, but until the attribution can be verified, the quote should not be regarded as authentic. I believe that water is the only drink for a wise man. ~Henry David Thoreau Filthy water cannot be washed. ~African Proverb “Throughout the history of literature, the guy who poisons the well has been the worst of all villains…” -ANON “Water is a very good servant, but it is a cruel master.” C.G.D. Roberts, “Adrift in America”, 1891 “You could not step twice into the same rivers; for other waters are ever flowing on to you.” Heraclitus of Ephesus “When you drink the water, remember the spring” Chinese Proverb “When the well is dry, we learn the worth of water” Benjamin Franklin

Some Facts on Water It is becoming the most valuable commodity 36 U.S. states face water shortages and it is becoming worse year after year Many lakes are disappearing or drying up Developed countries use 10 times more water than developing countries U.S. uses more than 83 trillion gallons of water a year and more will be needed in the future Most water is used in agriculture and lawn maintenance An average household with 6 valve sprinkler system uses 225 gallons of water everyday Often times a broken sprinkler is not noticed for days or until the grass has turned yellow, water runs off in vein Most of the water runs off into the city drain while watering the lawn Capturing this water whether by shutting off broken sprinklers or to a storage system will save 10-30% on consumption A system to store said water has the extra benefit of capturing rain water as well, as a collateral benefit.

Advantages Once installed it will save the consumer on the water bill for years to come with minimum maintenance It will save enough water that will help fighting against drought It will balance water reserves throughout the year It has the potential the government and utility companies to subsidize the cost because of its savings It will help keep the lawns green and maintain the integrity of the neighborhood. It will help dry states not be as dependent for their water supply It is a good selling point for new property developers the builder’s cost is significantly less due to volume and Labor while installing it in a new construction It will create thousands of jobs and help the economy. It has the potential of nationwide or maybe worldwide application Not only it will shut off system during rainy days, it will gather runoff water into the storage tank. Water saved due to not watering, and water collected

Disadvantages The cost of a system like this will range from depending on size, location, and distance. This cost maybe offset however, if State or Utility companies will be willing to subsidize for the benefit of the state and water conservation efforts. It may cause a little inconvenience for an owner of an existing home during installation. No inconvenience for a new development.
