Security Procedures Assignment Two What do I have to do??

Lesson Today Looking at what you have to do for your second assignment. York College Security Assessment.

Assignment Brief Firstly we will look at the assignment brief and what you have to do for your second assignment. Security Report on a chosen building!!

Security Report The assignment asks you to conduct a security survey on a chosen building which will be York College. Describe the security within York College and how it all works together to keep us safe.

Security Report Layout Tell me some information about York College. How many students go to the college? Maps of the college and identify security systems and all designated areas. Security Threats to the college?

Security What are the security systems are within the college. E.G CCTV: What is it? How is it used by the college?

Merit Criteria How does all of the security work together to make the college safe. CCTV: Provides info on a problem student, radios can be used to radio security personnel, CCTV can track the student and direct the staff to the area to make sure they are removed. Evidence for courts or disciplines.

Mind Map Security Threats to the college? In a mind map identify what you think the security threats are to the college and why? Impacts on the college?

Security Surveys Right lets go around the college and have a look at the security. Notebooks are vital. Sketch out the security in the college.
