Distance Order from the sun : Fifth Distance from the sun in km : 778,412,010 km Distance from the Earth in km : About 6,288,141,531,327,887 km (This Numeric value is average. Always it is a little different by revol- ution.)

Orbit and Rotation It takes earth years orbit around the sun. It takes 9.9 hours rotate on its axis.

Composition/Appearance Jupiter’s surface composition is gas giant. Jupiter’s internal composition is core, about 88%- 92% hydrogen, and about 8-12% helium. Jupiter looks like orange. Jupiter is one of the gas giants. It is recognizable by its swirling bands of clouds and large red spot.

Rings There are three rings orbiting Jupiter. They discovered by They made of gas, dust, rock, and ice.
