AUTHORS PURPOSE WHY DID THE AUTHOR WRITE THIS????? AND WHY IT IS IMPORTANT! AND WHY IT IS IMPORTANT!

To Persuade The author writes to try to get you to do something or believe what he/she is saying The author writes to try to get you to do something or believe what he/she is saying Examples: Examples: -Commercials (want you to buy good or services) -Advertisements (want you to buy specific product) -NOTE: Some documentaries, articles, magazines, books and informational videos have a persuasive agenda
