 Goals for Cohesion Policy (main Objectives): Investment for Growth and Jobs European Territorial Cooperation (Cooperation in ETC CPs, but as well in Country-specific Programmes)  Overall reform Principles for all OPs (ETC and Country- specific) Thematic concentration Results orientation Strategic approach ETC: Main features in Legislative Package Regulatory framework of ETC

Institutional capacity building & efficient public administrations A menu of thematic objectives… Regulatory framework of ETC

 Each thematic objective is translated into “investment priorities” (in Fund-specific regulations). [Art. 5 ERDF + Art.6 ETC]  Council / EP compromise: at least 80% of the programme must be allocated to 4 thematic objectives, …and investment priorities (IP) Regulatory framework of ETC

Overall allocation for Cohesion Policy: 386 bn. Financial Overall for ETC: MFF agreed 8.9 bn 3 categories: - 73 %for CBC - 21 % for Transnational - 6 % for Interregional Financial Allocation Regulatory framework of ETC
