Should we have classroom pets? I do think that we should have pets in classrooms, partly because I like animals but also because I think that it would be a really neat experience for kids.

The Core Democratic Values The Core Democratic values that support my side of the issue is the fact that I have Popular Sovereignty and The Pursuit Of Happiness.These are true because most of the kids would like to have a pet in their room and therefore, The Pursuit Of Happiness would come into play.

From Economics The thing though, is that who will pay for the food?Who will pay for the cage, the brush or the summer housing? We would have funds for the animal.The kids who wanted to help with the pet would help with these funds.

My Research Some pets that would be good are,turtles,iguanas,small animals,cheap animals,rodents,bird,snake,spider,millipede, scorpions,a Stick Insect and last of all,an ant. Classroom pets are an excellent way to add enrichment and responsibility to a young child’s learning experience but special care should be taken picking the right animal. Always remember that you are going to have to make sure that any classroom animal is properly cared for.

My written narrative I think that we should have classroom pets.My research says that 131 kids would really like to have a classroom pet.Most teachers think that it would be kind of cool to have a classroom pet.
