TAFE CO-COACHING Introduction to Leadership Learning Networks

Why? What? How? Why? Develop the next generation of Leaders in Sydney Institute. What? Developing the tools, skills mindsets of the Leadership framework. How? Co-operative learning groups facilitated by an IEC facilitator. Process expert with knowledge of the field. Co-coaching in triads and pairs within the group.

Co-coaching Definition Co-coaching is a learning relationship between two people or a small group in which one person guides another to enhance their potential in a particular area by setting goals and achieving them.

The Role of the Coach “Ask” not “tell.” To ask powerful questions that will allow the other to find their own solutions. Advice giving should be minimised. To support the coachee find people and resources to assist the goal. To hold the coachee accountable for their goal achievement. To spread the word. Other…

What is your learning goal for this program? What is the result or outcome you want? If you achieved that, what would be different in your role and what would be different in terms of the organisation? What is the situation right now? What do you see going on currently? In the current situation, what do you feel? What have you done about it so far? What will it take to make that happen? What might get in the way? How can you deal with the obstacles and still get what you want? Who are what do you need to support you? What actions could you take? What needs to happen first? What other options do you have? If you were to brainstorm all the possible options, what would they be? Of all these options, what would you choose?
