Hug O’War The theme of this poem is that everyone should get along with each other. We should “play a game” where everyone is a winner.

He became a cartoonist, playwright, poet, illustrator performer, recording artist, and Grammy-winning, Oscar-nominated songwriter. Silverstein is best known as the author of iconic books of prose and poetry for young readers.
