CLICK SAVE AUDACITY RECORDING/EDITING SOFTWARE TO EXPORT YOUR PROJECT: Click SAVE. The new format file is now ready for use in other programs.

PREVIEW SELECTION AUDACITY RECORDING/EDITING SOFTWARE EDITING: To preview the selection, click PLAY. Only the highlighted portion will play.

RE-DO IF NEEDED AUDACITY RECORDING/EDITING SOFTWARE EDITING: If you need to re-do the selection, drag the cursor again.

CUT AUDACITY RECORDING/EDITING SOFTWARE EDITING: To remove the selection, click the CUT button in the EDITING TOOLS group, or hit DELETE on the keyboard.

SELECTI0N REMOVED AUDACITY RECORDING/EDITING SOFTWARE EDITING: The selected section is removed and the gap is closed.

REVIEW EDIT AUDACITY RECORDING/EDITING SOFTWARE EDITING: Click PLAY to review your edit. If not correct, click EDIT>UNDO and try again.

COPY AUDACITY RECORDING/EDITING SOFTWARE EDITING: Instead of deleting the selection, you can click COPY to copy it.

PASTE AUDACITY RECORDING/EDITING SOFTWARE EDITING: The highlighted portion remains in the track. Place the cursor anywhere in any track and click PASTE to insert the audio.

EXPAND TRACK AUDACITY RECORDING/EDITING SOFTWARE EDITING: To make finding an edit point easier, you can expand the track to spread out the audio.

ZOOM IN AUDACITY RECORDING/EDITING SOFTWARE EDITING: Click the ZOOM IN button to magnify the track. Each click expands the track further.

ZOOM OUT AUDACITY RECORDING/EDITING SOFTWARE EDITING: Click the ZOOM OUT button to collapse the track.

IMPORT AUDIO AUDACITY RECORDING/EDITING SOFTWARE IMPORTING AUDIO: You can load any MP3 or WAV file into AUDACITY for editing.
