About Xylem 2

Our Company As a leading global water technology provider, Xylem enables customers to transport, treat, test and efficiently use water in multiple industries. We offer real solutions to many of the planet’s most challenging water issues through our advanced products, technologies and expertise. 3

My Role at Xylem 4 [Tell a little bit about your position at Xylem and the work you do every day to help solve water]

About Xylem Watermark 5

The Global Water Challenge 6 For millions of people, lack of water means more than thirst: It means disease: At any given time, half of the world’s hospital beds are occupied by patients suffering from diseases associated with lack of access to safe drinking water, inadequate sanitation and poor hygiene (United Nations, Human Development Report, 2006). It means limited time for productive activities like school and work: Millions of women and children spend up to 6 hours collecting water from distant, often polluted sources each day (UNICEF/WHO, 2015). It means lives are cut short: Every day, 4,100 children die of water-related diseases – nearly one death every three minutes (UNICEF, Tap Project).
