Meaning and Location The name of my dinosaur means “Near Lizard”. It lived the Jurassic Period. It lived 2,000 million years ago. The fossils were found in Connecticut.

Height and Weight Anchisaurus is 7 feet long. It weighs 60 pounds

Description It is small with a long neck. It has a big gut. They have long claws. It walked on two legs. They had a claw on each thumb. Their teeth were dull.

Food Anchisaurus was a herbivore. It eats plants. They grazed for its food.

Interesting Facts One interesting fact about Anchisaurus is they can use their front legs as hands.
