 Coaches Responsibilities ◦ Work through Age Group Coordinator ◦ Contact information – Emergency list always ◦ Set example for SYS  Zero tolerance on Misconduct/Bad Behavior / Bullying ◦ Fair Competition/Work with Opposing Coach ◦ Make certain every child is picked up before you go home! ◦ Make sure all trash/belongings are picked up after practices and games ◦ Bad Weather  Thunder and Lightning (at first sound or sight off the field, can not return until 30 minutes after last sound or sight!)

 Ball Size: ◦ 3 for U5, U6, U7  Games: ◦ 2 sides for U5, U6, U7  Players: ◦ 3 for U5, U6 ◦ 4 for U7  Length of Game: ◦ 4 quarters for U5, U6, U7  Out of Bounds: ◦ New Ball for U5, U6 ◦ Throw in and corner kicks for U7  Substitutions: ◦ Anytime for U5, U6, ◦ Announce to Referee for U7

 Ball Size: ◦ 3 for Spring Season, 4 for U10 Assessment in June  Field Size: ◦ Larger than U7  Games: ◦ 6 v 6, 4 quarters, (13 minutes each) ◦ First 2 games – No Goalie  Players: ◦ Familiarized with all positions ◦ Each player should play at least ½ of game  Control of Game: ◦ 2 refs with equal authority.  Other: ◦ Substitutions - Announce to Referee ◦ Throw in and Corner Kicks

Parents  Codes of Conduct (see website) Distribute Parent’s Code of Conduct at FIRST Practice  Keep Parents on end lines behind goals for mini games and opposite side of players for U8 games Players  ½ Game per player  Be there at least 15 minutes early
