Weekly Word Problems Grade 6

Numeration I have six digits. My hundred-thousands digit is 1 less than my ones digit, 8 greater than my thousands digit, twice my tens digit and 4 times my hundreds digit. My ten-thousands digit is 0. What number am I? Problem 1

Three in a Row The sum of three consecutive numbers is 600. What is the least of these three numbers? Problem 2

Show Patterns The sixth grade has five days to sell tickets to a talent show. The students predict that each day they will sell 10 fewer tickets than the day before. How many must they sell the first day if they want to sell 200 tickets in all? Problem 3
