SURF AND TURF: DAY 1 Riding on State Road 24, you will pass by woods and the historic site of Rosewood. Reaching Sleepy key with twisted cedar trees and the 100 year old Cracker houses. SURF AND TURF: DAY 2 As going farther north of 19/98, state road 358, takes you to a place even less developed then Cedar Key. A town called Steinhatchee. That’s why its called Florida’s “best kept secret”. Take pictures of the stacks of barnacled crab traps, weathered fishing boats, and the grayish colored docks. The life is quiet except during the scalloping season when the locals and visitors snorkel the shallow bay. Throw a stone and a professional tour guide will more then likely show you how to get a good catch. Taste scallops fried at Roy's Restaurant( ) overlooking the Steinhatchee River. If you just want to relax and kick you heels back visit the tin-roofed Steinhatchee Landing Resort where presidents and celebrities have done too so.

SURF AND TURF: DAY 3 When hitting the bend of the state, on 19/98 is a simple highway going along the coastline and finally letting you engage into the open views of the glistening Gulf. Driving further west, the water gets calmer where barrier islands protect the mainland where 90% of Florida's oysters are harvested.
