Duct tape is a very strong tape made from cloth sealed with polyethylene to make it sticky. Duct tape is often used to repair things such as pipes, windows and so much more. What makes it so extraordinary is that it’s very strong and sticky.

Duct Tape was first created in 1942 by Johnson & Johnson Permecel Division during world war 2. It was used as a water resistant sealing tape for ammunition cases. Also used to repair military equipment. (Jeeps, firearms, aircrafts, etc) Duct tape was originally in the color army green then was made in silver to match the ductwork. Once hearing this people started calling it “Duct Tape” It had many names such as rigger tape, hurricane tape,100- mph tape and gun tape.
