Therefore, laying aside all malice, all deceit, hypocrisy, envy, and all evil speaking,

ATROPHYATROPHY  Wasting away of any part of the body; lack of growth from want of nourishment; may have atrophy of muscle, eye, arm or leg.  Spiritually, many members have it one way or another.  Christians should continue to grow and develop. as newborn babes, desire the pure milk of the word, that you may grow thereby, if indeed you have tasted that the Lord is gracious. (1 Pet. 2:1-3)

ATROPHYATROPHY  Wasting away of any part of the body; lack of growth from want of nourishment; may have atrophy of muscle, eye, arm or leg.  Spiritually, many members have it one way or another.  Christians should continue to grow and develop. For though by this time you ought to be teachers, you need someone to teach you again the first principles of the oracles of God; and you have come to need milk and not solid food.

ATROPHYATROPHY Wasting away of any part of the body; lack of growth from want of nourishment; may have atrophy of muscle, eye, arm or leg. Spiritually, many members have it one way or another. Christians should continue to grow and develop. For everyone who partakes only of milk is unskilled in the word of righteousness, for he is a babe.

HYDROPHOBIAHYDROPHOBIA  A symptom is the fear of water; getting close to water brings on spiritual convulsions.  Pharisees and lawyers had it. And when all the people heard Him, even the tax collectors justified God, having been baptized with the baptism of John. But the Pharisees and lawyers rejected the will of God for themselves, not having been baptized by him. (Luke 7:30)

HYDROPHOBIAHYDROPHOBIA  A symptom is the fear of water; getting close to water brings on spiritual convulsions.  Pharisees and lawyers had it.  Jesus was not bothered with it. Then Jesus came from Galilee to John at the Jordan to be baptized by him. And John tried to prevent Him, saying, "I need to be baptized by You, and are You coming to me?" But Jesus answered and said to him, "Permit it to be so now, for thus it is fitting for us to fulfill all righteousness."

HYDROPHOBIAHYDROPHOBIA  A symptom is the fear of water; getting close to water brings on spiritual convulsions.  Pharisees and lawyers had it.  Jesus was not bothered with it. Then he allowed Him. When He had been baptized, Jesus came up immediately from the water; and behold, the heavens were opened to Him, and He saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and alighting upon Him.

HYDROPHOBIAHYDROPHOBIA  A symptom is the fear of water; getting close to water brings on spiritual convulsions.  Pharisees and lawyers had it.  Jesus was not bothered with it. And suddenly a voice came from heaven, saying, "This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased." (Matt. 3:13-17)

HYDROPHOBIAHYDROPHOBIA  A symptom is the fear of water; getting close to water brings on spiritual convulsions.  Pharisees and lawyers had it.  Jesus was not bothered with it.  Those afflicted with hydrophobia cannot enjoy the remission of sins or enter into union with Christ. Then Peter said to them, "Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins." (Acts 2:38)

Or do you not know that as many of us as were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into His death?

HYDROPHOBIAHYDROPHOBIA  A symptom is the fear of water; getting close to water brings on spiritual convulsions.  Pharisees and lawyers had it.  Jesus was not bothered with it.  Those afflicted with hydrophobia cannot enjoy the remission of sins or enter into union with Christ. Therefore we were buried with Him through baptism into death, that just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. (Rom. 6:3-4)
