Equal Access means: The same: –information –meal –Eligibility determination –Accessibility of services

Annual Training of Staff Front line staff (interact with Program applicants or participants): Servers and cashiers, Secretarial staff who distribute or collect Meal Benefit Application, School Meal Program staff conducting verification, Snack Program or SFSP staff who supervise students during mealtimes

Required CR Topics Collection and use of data, Equal Opportunity Effective public notification systems, Complaint procedures, Compliance & Resolution of Noncompliance, Requirements for reasonable accommodation of persons with disabilities, Requirements for language assistance (Limited English Proficiency) Conflict resolution, and Customer service.

Complaint? Based on race, color, national origin, sex, age, or disability, Either written or verbal, Must be made within 180 days of the event. Provide the nondiscrimination statement and procedures for filing a complaint. Provide a Complaint Form. Forward completed complaint to USDA within 3 days of receipt to the address in the nondiscrimination statement. Track Civil Rights Complaints
