SYSTEM SAFETY SOCIETY Professionals Dedicated to the Safety of Systems, Products & Services Organized 1962 Incorporated 1973   August Winners Circle Recommendations Associate Member Issue –Abolish the membership classification of “Associate Member” –Reclassify those holding such classification as “Member” with full membership privileges Voting Eligible to hold elected office –Rationale for separation is not evident (reference fees) –“Member” and “Associate Member” need to be informed of their respective status at the time they are accepted into the society

SYSTEM SAFETY SOCIETY Professionals Dedicated to the Safety of Systems, Products & Services Organized 1962 Incorporated 1973   August Post-Election Orientation –Incoming officers should be provided direct post-election orientation training by the corresponding departing officer Constitution Article IV, Section 4.14 –“Newly elected Officers and Directors of the Society shall start of interface with Society Officers at least two months prior to taking office so that they will be aware of programs started which should be continued, and the business of the Society, in order that there will be an effective transition from one administration to the next and to assure that the progress of the Society will not be delayed. SYSTEM SAFETY SOCIETY Professionals Dedicated to the Safety of Systems, Products & Services Organized 1962 Incorporated 1973   August Society Candidate Qualifications –Issue of election reform –Citation of the candidate’s qualification for the office sought be clearly represented to all members of the System Safety Society prior to the time for submission for ballots Constitution Article V, Section 5.2 –The President, with the advice and consent of the EC, shall appoint a Nominating Committee which shall select nominees for the office of President, Executive Vice President, Treasurer, Executive Secretary and three Directors. –The committee shall seek advice and recommendations from each Chapter in the selection of nominees.
