What is a vanpool? Group of 5 – 15 people who commute together on a regular basis in a van

How does it work? Each vanpool has a primary driver One or more alternate drivers One pickup/drop off point or multiple pickup/drop off points along the route Participants pay with vouchers distributed by Transit Benefit allowance

Transit Benefit Allowance $230/month/rider DOD Funded Work with DOT representative

What are the benefits? Cost effectiveness – with the current Transit Benefit allowance, a group could enjoy a fully-paid, tax free commute to work Reduce your insurance coverage on your vehicle Reliable means of transportation Reduce pollution and traffic congestion Preserve the environment Conserve energy

Who is VPSI, Inc? Vanpool Services Incorporated, established in 1977 Exclusive contract with Pima Assoc of Government Operates from 40 customer support offices nationwide and a fleet of 5,200 vehicles. VPSI currently serves 600 vanpools at 52 military installations Some of the active AFB installations include; MacDill AFB, March AFB, Luke AFB, Los Angeles AFB, Wright-Patterson AFB and Virginia Air National Guard.
