4 Services: Accessible vans Van maintenance Driver training AddVANtage Program For non-profit agencies that serve seniors or people with disabilities

5 Van service open to the public Provide drivers and insurance 50 Provide 50 one-way van trips a month for ADA Paratransit eligible customers 100 Provide 100 one-way van trips for $10,000 in operating funds Agency Requirements:

6 Services: Metro VanPool vehicle Van maintenance Gas and comprehensive/collision insurance Special Use Vanpool Program For non-profit agencies that transport seniors or people with disabilities to work or training

7 50 Provide 50 one-way van trips a month for ADA Paratransit eligible customers who commute to work or school VanPool must include a driver, back up driver and bookkeeper. Liability Insurance. Agency Requirements:

9 l More flexible schedules l Vehicles for errands, field trips or weekend service. l Consistent transportation environment for riders: o pick up and drop off times o routes o drivers o seat location o ridesharing passengers l Can transport riders not eligible for ADA, outside of the ADA service area or suspended from ADA Paratransit service Benefits to Agencies

10 l Van partnerships fill gaps in service. l Van partnerships per trip costs are under $6. l Service is adaptable to meet the needs of the community. Benefits to King County Metro

12 ACCESS pass = $200 toward riders monthly vanpool fare value Vanpool rider must commute at least one day each week on a Metro vanpool. Vanpool rider must be registered for Metro’s ADA Paratransit service Metro Vanpools
