Blitzkrieg was a German word for lightening warfare.Blitzkrieg was when German planes would bomb cities. They would target telephone wires and factories. They then would follow with tanks and then soldiers. Did you Know Belfast was one of The cities bombed in the war. Even though Ireland was neutral.

Fat ManLittle Boy At the end of the war when the Axis surrendered Japan would not surrender so the Americans were angry and wanted to finish the war. The Americans created a massive bomb called the Atomic bomb and dropped it on two big Japanese cities Nagasaki and Hiroshima. In Nagasaki the total deaths was between 60,000-80,000 and in Hiroshima the total deaths was between 90, ,000. The nickname for the Nagasaki bomb was the Fat Man and the nick name for the Hiroshima bomb was called the little boy.
