Description ► A comprehensive course designed to instruct students in the basic knowledge and skills required for cabinetmaking and furniture design ► A yearlong course of study intended to develop knowledge and/or skill about materials, processes, and tools used in the woodworking industry. This course will emphasize the necessity of following a plan as well as safe techniques and procedures. A strong emphasis will be placed on craftsmanship and utilizing hand tools and machine tools that are common to the craft.
