How does America’s largest classroom impact learning?

 Looking across decades of studies of PBS content, how effective is our educational content?  How does PBS LearningMedia content impact student achievement?  How do we shape the future of education? Three Questions: Learning Impact

 PBS content has educational effectiveness and a significantly positive impact on learning across all ages, subjects and platforms  90% of the studies show that PBS content has significant positive impacts  In categories including early learning, classroom and lab settings, out-of-school and lifelong learning, and STEM learning, PBS content and learning tools consistently demonstrate high impact, ranging from 94%-100%  99% of the studies shows statistically significant impacts for PBS content across technology platforms PBS Content Impacts Learning

 Across subject areas - student performance on content assessments showed significant improvement, increasing by 8%  On average, students outperformed national assessment norms by 10%  Students outperformed state assessment norms, by an average of 11%  56% of students showed an increase in the frequency with which they engaged in critical thinking practices.
