Overview of mini case studies Tallinn College of Tallinn University of Technology Estonia

Mini Case Studies Estonian employers look for and recruit employees with higher qualification from abroad. They expect these employees to have the skills required to work independently at the new company and to develop new skills besides the core job. In general the new migrants/mobile workers value information about job vacancies and wages. Those already in employment consider general information and information about requirements for working abroad, such as paperwork, documents and procedures more important.

Training objectives and perspectives Company Management – focus on staff policy development, planning training, staff motivation, more efficient use of labour. Migrants / mobile workers- focus on getting a clear overview of the training options, existing skills, refresher courses, career planning and professional development.
