Issues we have faced A bigger change for staff than we anticipated Overwhelmed them with a 50 page document We got caned Conflated with Turnitin issues But, staff were not engaging in PD Had to offer more personalised training But, we have a plan to make further improvements Identified future development: – Moderation – More filtering options – extensions, late submissions, not yet released – Identification of downloaded assignments – Configure downloaded submissions into directories
Conclusions Hoping that some of these innovations may be deemed worthy for inclusion into core Most of the issues we faced were not due to bad functionality Different way of supporting staff and students Need to be conscious that most teachers are really busy
