Art in other areas of Learning across the EYFS …. Physical Development Communication, Language and Literacy Knowledge and Understanding of the World Problem Solving, Reasoning and Numeracy Personal, Social and Emotional Development

Physical Development and Art …. Painting, drawing and using scissors are all developing hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills in the Early Years.

PSED and Art …. It allows children to express freely things that they cannot put into words. It can be a sociable experience.

CLL and Art …. Children are able to discuss their own and others art, and able to express their opinions.

KUW and Art …. Art encourages close observation of the world around them They learn that Art can be a profession and they could aspire to be an artist one day

PSRN and Art …. Colour Sums – learning that red + blue = purple Looking at different shapes and patterns
