SG2 – A: Examples of good practice in PCK - Nothing was received from Chris Shepherd… but once contacted he said he had only received a document from Coimbra. Documents that can be discussed: - competences of future physics teachers… contributions from Romualda, Olivia, Maria José, … - Any other suggestions?

SG2 – B: Benchmarks at secondary school level - Data was received by Romualda from: University of Coimbra (Maria José de Almeida) University of Bologna (Olivia Levrini) University of Lithuânia (Romualda Lazauskaité) University of Craiova (Gabriela Iacobescu) - A summary of the first three documents was prepared by Maria José

SG2 – C : Involvement of Physics departments in physics teacher education - Data collection by Nathalie Lebrun, from Univ. Coimbra, Univ. Zagreb and Univ. Lille - a first draft of a questionnaire was done -some comments have already been collected and some corrections were suggested -the questionnaire already contains some aspects of Benchmarks (sec. schools) (SG2 – B)… Notes: Questionnaire may need further revision and refinement

- How can one introduce these ECTS in primary school teachers’ education? -How much more ECTS in Biology (life sciences), and Geology (earth sciences), and Chemistry, and… contents, for primary school teachers? -Are primary school teachers supposed to “specialize” in different scientific subjects?... … Comments on a publication by Valerie Otero…
