3. University management is asked to….
… find indicators for these quality criteria
… count and measure (including statistical analysis)
… compare the data with ?? (previous year, internal competitors, external benchmarks)
… show reaction on the results (Follow up strategies)

4. Austrian Universities: situation today
Count/measure: we are experts in counting ! – Even when we do not know what.
Indicators: hundreds ! Are they really efficient to measure quality ?
Compare: mostly internal, system with external partners is improving
Weakness: consequences. Influence on teachers is limited depending on their contract situation young – middle aged – elder – external

Scientific competence in the field
Structured presentation of the content
Good didactic skills (flexible for new kinds of students)
