Day 1 – Wednesday, June 8th ▪4:30 am – Coach Busses arrive ▪5:00 am – Busses Depart (New Departure Time) ▪Pack Breakfast & Lunch for Day 1 ▪2:00 pm – Meet Tour Guides in Alexandria, VA. ▪2:30 pm – Mount Vernon ▪5:30 pm – Pentagon City Mall Food Court ▪6:30 pm – FDR Memorial, World War II Memorial, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. National Memorial ▪9:30 pm – Hotel Check In ▪10:00 pm – Security Personnel Arrive – Lights Out

Day 2 – Thursday, June 9th ▪ 6:15 am – Breakfast Shifts Begin Hotel) ▪ 7:30 am – Busses Depart ▪ 8:30 am – Arlington National Cemetery - Iwo Jima Memorial - National Zoo – Panda Stop - the zoo ▪ 1:00 pm – Newseum - White House Photo Stop – North Lawn - Jefferson Memorial ▪ 5:30 pm – Dinner – Union Station – Food Court ▪ 6:30 pm – Lincoln Memorial - Korean Memorial - Vietnam Memorial ▪ 9:00 pm – Back to Hotel

Day 3 – Friday, June 10th ▪ 6:15 am – Breakfast Shifts Hotel ▪ 8:00 am – Hotel Check Out - Busses Depart ▪ 9:00 am – Souvenior Shop Photo Stops – Supreme Court & Library of Congress ▪ 10:00 am – Meet with our Senators and Representatives on steps of the Capitol Building ▪ 11:00 am – U. S. Capitol Tour ▪ 12:00 pm – Lunch ▪ 1:00 - 5:30 pm – “An Afternoon on the Mall” American History, Natural History, Air and Space, National Art Gallery, National Archives, Holocaust Museum, White House, Washington Monument ▪ 5:30 pm – Board Busses - Depart for RI (Stop for rest stop) ▪ 1:30 am (Saturday, June 11 th !) – Wakefield Mall

Behavior Contract Why: Good Behavior = Trust Trust = Safe, Successful Trip Curtis Corner Middle School 2016 Washington, D. C. Trip Behavior Contract “SAMPLE” Behavior Agreement: Any student who receives two (2) “MAJOR” discipline referrals or the equivalent between January 10th, 2016 and June 8th, 2016 may be excluded from the trip. Three (3) “MINOR” discipline referrals are equivalent to one (1) “MAJOR.” Exclusion from the trip is subject to administrator discretion. If a student is suspended out of school between the dates listed above he or she will automatically be excluded from the trip. The amount of refund to the parents/guardians will be determined by the tour company. Meadow Farms Fundraising ▪CCMS General Fund & Individual Incentive ▪First three (3) items sold – profits go to General Fund ▪All items sold after the first three – profits go directly to the individual student’s World Strides Account. ▪Example: Student sells 23 items ➢ First 3 x $6 = $18 – General Fund ➢ Next 20 x $6 = $120 – Directly to student!
