Overview I.Problem II.Solution III.Packaging IV.Testing V.Bill Of Materials VI.Questions

I. Problem What is the problem? Current remote surveillance systems use limited resolution cameras, while high-resolution surveillance systems do not have remote transfer.

II. Solution What is the solution? The CellVeillance will allow for remote capture and transfer with an off-the-shelf digital camera.

III. Packaging Pelican Case – Weatherproof (NEMA-4 Standards) Polycarbonate face plate (laser-cut for precision) Removable lower faceplate for easy access to battery

III. Testing– Practical Constraints TypeNameDescription SustainabilitySelf TestThe device must be capable of remotely performing a self test. SustainabilityUpgradeableThe device must be capable of accepting firmware upgrades. Self Test: - Provides assurance - Capability to test all systems individually - Text file sent from the radio to the web server with diagnostics Upgradeable: - Add functionality - Fix bugs

IV. Testing ConstraintResults Battery LifeContinuous transmission: 10 hours Or standby mode: 72 hours And normal mode: 2 hours 10 hours of continuous transmission and 5 hours of normal mode Data Transmission Compatible with GPRS cellular network Images sent via GPRS network to webpage PortabilityPhysical dimensions of 12”L x 6”W x 6”D 12”L x 10”W x 6”D Motion Detection Distance of 30 feet at a 90-degree viewing angle 40 feet for 60 degrees and 30 feet for remaining 30 degrees CompatibilityCompatible with an off-the-shelf digital camera 3.1 Mega pixel Digital Concepts Camera

V. Testing - Power Supply B.B. 12 V 7.5 Ah SLA Battery [2] ConstraintDescription Battery LifeThe device must be able to transmit data continuously for at least 10 hours or persist in standby mode for up to 72 hours without recharging, after which it can resume full functionality for 2 hours.
