The goal of the discipline is the acquisition of essential knowledge of specific features, modern condition and prospects of development of plasma welding technologies and equipment, aimed at solving professional tasks in the frames of manufacturing, research and pedagogical activity. The subject matter of the discipline learning are being the following objects in the field of plasma technologies and equipment: Constricted arcs and plasma jets of low-temperature plasma.
