Life and Writings of Charles Dickens The Victorian Era and the Industrial Revolution in England had a great influence on Charles Dickens. He lived and wrote about the great changes in society, and not all of them good. So, to understand the special social messages behind A Christmas Carol, you must understand the time period. After completing the Web Quest, you will create either 1.) an acrostic or Timeline of Charles Dickens life 2.) a mini-booklet. If you are working alone, you only need to complete one of he three.
