Facts Nobody ever claimed the Titanic to be “unsinkable” It did not receive much publicity until after it sank, therefore, there isn’t a lot of real footage of the ship. Most newsreels used film from it’s sister ship the Olympic with the name scratched out “A Night to Remember” is considered the most historically accurate account Titanic won 11 Academy Awards
