Male Anatomy

Diagram

Penis The tube like sex organ of males which hangs outside of the body

Urethra The tube that at different times carries urine and semen out of the body

Testicles Two oval shaped organs contained in the scrotum, which produce the male hormone testosterone and sperm.

Epididymis The sperm are stored here until they mature, possibly for as long as 6 weeks.

Vas Deferens The thin long tubes through which sperm travel from the testicles, and where sperm are mixed with other fluid to make semen

Bladder A sac inside the abdomen that holds urine

Seminal Vesicles Two glands on either side of the bladder that secret seminal fluid

Prostate A gland near the bladder that adds fluid to semen
