How easy is it to get 3,4 and 5 year olds to eat a healthy balanced meal? You will have useful information to help you on this tuff job.

It is very important to provide fresh fruits and veggies as opposed to foods high in sugars,fats, and carbs

Choosing foods high in fats, carbs, and sugars will lead to obese children at a young age and can set the tone for problems in the future

Benefits of eating healthy: 1. No crashing after sugar highs 2. Full of vitamins and minerals that helps healthy growth 3. Helps with focus and concentration and gives you energy to play.

Eating unhealthy foods for children 1. Can cause high blood pressure 2. Can cause diabetes that can cause long term issues. 3. Overload of daily calories Can eating unhealthy for just 5 days really cause that much damage to an adult body? Imagine what it would do to a child.

Ways to help an obese child lose weight safely.  1. Limit television time and encourage more play and outside time.  2. Portion control all foods healthy and non.  3. Keeping hydrated is so important push water and skim milk  4. Limit snacks to healthy fruits and homemade popcycles made from frozen yogurt.  5. Exercise as a family. Ride bikes, run, play games.

Always remember a HEALTHY CHILD IS A HAPPY CHILD
