The Invincible carried Santa Anna back to Mexico. “Remember the Alamo” was the battle cry at the battle of San Jacinto. Santa Anna was found in tall grass. Agua Dulce is the creek near the battle where Grant was defeated. Fannin’s troops were surrounded at Coleto Creek. Refugio is town in South Texas where scouting party was killed. Matamoros was the starting point for Urrea’s men. Goliad was the site of the execution of 350 men. Infantry soldiers fight on foot. Calvary are soldiers on horseback. A flank is a side formation. The Runaway Scrape was the flight of families toward the Sabine. The Twin Sisters were a gift from the people of Cincinnati.
