Conclusions The Network took note of:  Re-election of Ms. Kari Jacobson as Chair; election of Ms. Alexandra Marques and re-election of Ms. Mugyeong Moon and Mr. Arturo Sáenz Ferral as Vice-chairs; and; resignation of Ms. Luisa Silva Ucha and Mr. Keisuke Otani.  The overview of the country responses and the findings on ‘Financing ECEC services’.  Country presentations on the theme of the meeting from NOR, FIN, ESP, ENG, MEX, AUS, SLV, BEL, USA, IRE, NZL, followed by relevant questions from countries.  Presentations from OECD colleagues (CERI/EDU, CELE/EDU, DELSA), UNESCO, and Bertlemans Foundation.  Presentations from experts (Mr. Steven Barnett, Mr. Robert Myers).  Progress on the ECEC portal and the quality project and comments from DEN, POR, ITA.  The draft country questionnaire for the ECEC portal and the quality project.  Reassessed priority themes for future meetings.  Next meeting “Curriculum and pedagogy” on 6-7 December.

Action Plan for Next Steps Secretariat Send the network meeting “curriculum and pedagogy” questionnaire by end of July. Send a pilot survey for the portal and quality project by mid-July; revise and send the final survey in mid-November. Network members All countries Take part in the network meeting questionnaire by end of October.
