Church

The only earthly legacy ever directly begun by Jesus is His church “I will build My church…” (Matthew 16:18)

The only people that come out victorious are His church “I will build My church, and the gates of Hell shall not prevail against it.” (Matthew 16:18)

“Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her.” (Ephesians 5:25)

Christ entrusted his Truth to his church I am writing you these instructions so that, 15 if I am delayed, you will know how people ought to conduct themselves in God's household, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and foundation of the truth. (1 Timothy 3:14,15)

Great Churches Are Made Up Of Great People

What do people consider when becoming a part of a church? Do I fit here? Does anybody want to know me? How can I grow here? Am I needed? Do I fit here? Does anybody want to know me? How can I grow here? Am I needed?

1.Membership means that you are committed to this body of believers. Why is it important to partner with a church in membership?

Acts 15:4 4 When they came to Jerusalem, they were welcomed by the church and the apostles and elders, to whom they reported everything God had done through them.

2. Membership makes you accountable to this body which serves to protect you. Why is it important to partner with a church?

3. Membership gives you a greater opportunity to discover and use your gifts in ministry. Why is it important to partner with a church?

1 Corinthians 12:1,4,-7 1 Now about spiritual gifts, brothers, I do not want you to be ignorant…4 There are different kinds of gifts, but the same Spirit. 5 There are different kinds of service, but the same Lord. 6 There are different kinds of working, but the same God works all of them in all men. 7 Now to each one the manifestation of the Spirit is given for the common good.
