Current Issues Lack of adequate technology infrastructure Poor space utilization Inflexible study spaces, lack of small study rooms Inadequate and aging electrical infrastructure Poor lighting in back section of library Issues with cooling and heating The need to address increasing numbers of students as we add programs The need for additional 24-hour study space/access The need to co-locate library faculty & staff on main floor of library

What stays the same Library remains open throughout the renovation (decreased floorspace and seating) (refer to map) 24 hour study room stays open throughout the renovation (with the exception of a few weeks of construction beginning during winter break) All services continued to be offered Online content unaffected Reserve books (i.e. current textbooks) unaffected

Alternate Study Space Available Every afternoon through duration of project One lecture room plus a hallway of PBL rooms Weekly posting of available alternate study spaces on our blog, Facebook page, and whiteboards
