TYPES OF BEAMS

Type of Beams Simply Supported Beam Overhanging Beam Cantilever Beam Statically Determinate beam Simply Supported Beam Overhanging Beam Cantilever Beam

CANTILEVER BEAM If one and up beam is fixed and another end is free then the beam is called “CANTILEVER BEAM”

SIMPLY SUPPORTED BEAM When two ends of a beam is simply supported by lone end is supported by a roller and other end is supported hinged than it is called “SIMPLY SUPPORTED BEAM”

OVER HANGING BEAM If a beam is supported by two supports one is hinge another is roller at anyway under the beam is called “OVER HANGING BEAM”
