Types of Angles A right angle has a measure of 90 degrees. An acute angle has a measure of less than 90 degrees. An obtuse angle has a measure greater than 90 degrees. A straight line has a measure of 180 degrees.. Ray Vertex Parts of an Angle

Other Angles Complimentary Angles- two angles whose measurements add up to 90 degrees. Supplementary Angles- two angles whose measurements add up to 180 degrees. Vertical angles- Two angles, with the same measurement, that are created when two lines intersect.

Degrees Angles are measured in degrees. And can be written various ways. A BC This angle can be written as < B since B is the vertex point or <ABC, a format that uses all three points in the angle for clarification. All shapes have a degree measure. A circle measures 360 degrees. A triangle has a measure of 180°. All the angle measures in the triangle add up to ° 80° 65°35°

Reflex Angle- an angle with a degree greater than 180. Degrees Cont. Adjacent angles- Angles that are next to each other. They have a common vertex and common side, but no other overlap.
