Founded in 1982 –by Late Dr. T.R.Paliwal, who was a Principal & Professor of Psychology –BDP School was opened in Mathura Rural area that is being served –Daily wage earners and mid-level farmers in neighboring rural area –around 400 students are being educated each year along with 5000 adults –Current literacy rate is 12% Aim of BDP School –Formal education as prescribed by UP board of education (Education ministry, Govt. of India) with value added courses. –Informal education: Vocational training, Health awareness programs, Computer courses, Adult education and Agriculture development Background information on PSE, Mathura
