6. Self Help Groups Started in ’98, 362 groups ~15/group = ~ 6000 women Training & credit for weaving, tailoring, poultry, petty shops, etc. Spread health care awareness Micro financing from savings Bank accounts with book keeping 6

Health Care & Shanti Sena 8 Primary Health Care - 50 vols trained -Provides primary care, serious cases referred to Govt. hospital -28 camps in 25 villages to spread malaria awareness -2500 treated last year Mahila Shanti Sena - 3000 members - Peace rallies and employment generation - funded by DoS and N.E council -Spread to neighboring states
